Infinity ink

Hey everyone!

First things first, thanks for reading my blog, it means so much to me! One day, I'd love to become a well-known blogger, and you guys could help me to fulfill that dream :) Keep on reading, I'll keep on writing!

BAM!
This blogpost is about the fear I faced the day before yesterday, and even though the title of this post is a bit of a spoiler (not to mention the pictures), I'll tell you what I've done.. I got my very first tattoo! And I'm not going to lie, it hurt. A lot, oh yes it did.

I've been thinking of taking a tattoo for very long time, but it was terribly hard to pick one. Will it be a tattoo with a special meaning? Or just a tattoo that I like? And, very important, where do I want one? About a week ago, I made up my mind. I'm going for a tattoo with a meaning, this is the tale behind it:

As you have probably read in one of my previous posts, I did a trip through Europe for a month with my best friend. When we came home again, I wanted some kind of reminder of the amazing time we had, something that would make me think of it every time I'd see it. A tattoo. I figured that a map of the world would not only remind me of the trip, but would also make me keep my promise to travel the world someday. Traveling, fashion and music are my greatest passions in life, so this design spoke to me immediately.

Here I was still making fun of it.. It didn't last very long
So Tuesday was the big day! Me and my travel buddy went to the tattoo shop for my appointment and I could start right away. I'm doing this, I'm actually doing this.. At first, the pain wasn't that bad. Just an annoying sting, it was ok. But as the tattoo artist continued to the middle of my wrist, the pain got pretty bad. I hadn't eaten enough (which apparently was the dumbest thing I could've done), so I got very dizzy too. And just when I thought: shit, I'd like to know how long this is going to take.. It was finished. Twelve minutes and it was DONE. Fast, huh?! I was so glad I did it, and I still am. Bucketlist: tattoo? CHECK!

The next blogpost will be about Berlin, a wonderful city with such an impressive history. Thanks for reading, see you next time!

Very, very happy with the result!

Love,
Ruby
